KICKS/HI X PSC 2018 WORLD CUP COLLAB

Inspired by the State Anthem Hawaiʻi Ponoʻī and state flower Pua ma‘o hau hele (yellow hibiscus) Kicks Hawaii teamed up with Paradise Soccer Club in conjunction with the 21st FIFA World Cup 2018. The collaboration includes a home and away jersey featuring a subtle hibiscus textile pattern overlaid by pinstripes which read the lyrics of Hawaiʻi’s State Anthem. On the jerseys left sleeve, is a crest designed to represent Hawaii as a National Team in this 2018 World Cup. Hawaiʻi Ponoʻī translates to Hawaiʻi’s own true sons, the anthem has been the symbol of Hawaii since written by David Kalakaua in 1874.
